Morris M46 yacht sails with a complimentary custom paddleboard

Morris Yachts, America’s premier sailboat builder, has gone ahead and done the new – adding a custom Inflatable Standup Paddleboard (iSUP) as an additional benefit on purchase of the M46 sailing yacht. Launched in March 2013, the M46 as it is took the market by surprise, later being labeled the most “versatile” of Morris’s M-Series line up. She was designed to meet the demands of today’s active sailing family and her innovative drop down transom design provides easy and convenient water access for the Morris iSUP. Morris openly claims to be the first to provide an iSUP with a sailing boat.

It’s in collaboration with Hawaii-based C4Waterman that Morris Yacht is developing the custom iSUP. The board measures up to 10’9” and 34” width suitable for both beginners and professionals alike, offering them a very stable ride. Moreover, the builder has fashioned a very elegant on-board storage solution for the Morris iSUP.

“The iSUP and storage bag will slip neatly into its allocated place in the M46′s bow locker where it is held in place by a security strap. When ready for use, all the owner has to do is release the strap and lay the board flat on the nearby foredeck to inflate it,” says Peter Smith, Chief Engineer for Morris Yachts.
