BAGS HANDBAGS SUMMER 2013
The W bag
For this summer, Louis Vuitton will release a new handbag model, which will be available in selected LV-boutiques around the world. The new model called W is created from the skin of different textures and colors with the shape that resembles the letter. Some of the bags variations are decorated canvas Monogram, velvety and embroidery on leather, inspired by the art of tapestry. The lining of the bag is made of fine suede. Inside the W, which strongly holds form, despite the softness of the material. Above you can see the burgundy one, without Monogram (the ones with it are pretty cool as well). The shape and size of the W bag makes it a great travel companion, and if I had to board somewhere I would definitely do it chic with the following wish-things: Rick Owens ’Crater’ python jacket, Acne striped ‘Maurice’ skirt, Vanessa Bruno ribbed racer-back tank, Lindsey Adelman Rib-necklace, Roger Vivier Prismick shoulder bag, Nicholas Kirkwood mesh and suede slingbacks, Alaïa burgundy studded suede sandals, Byredoperfume travel case and a couple of magazines from Fantastic Man and The Gentlewoman, that you can find here.

Summer Cravings
Black essentials
Above I have gathered some black pieces that can be your basic essentials in your spring closet. I love black and can’t get enough of it and find it so beautiful to wear not only in the fall and winter season but also when the summer is coming. From the top left: jersey dress from Rick Owens Lilies (here), sheer tank from Acne Studios, top from The Rowwith deep back, long sleeve washed out linen top from Étoile Isabel Marant, leather shorts from Isabel Marant, pleated skirt from The Row, satin belt from Lanvin from Net-a-Porter, leather sneakers from Nike (here), sunglasses from Ray Ban, black leather bucket bag from Balenciaga (love this one, you can find it here), black leather sandals from Marni at Farfetch.com and ‘Twin Mini Messenger’ shoulder bag from The Row that you can find here.

Little Liffner
I really like this black canvas tote in woven linen and black calf leather from Little Liffner. It’s the perfect bag for the summer. Canvas is such a beautiful material to combine with leather. The combination up-lifts the most simple summer looks and makes them just perfect. This tote, ‘The Tote all-mighty’ is also available in croco-embossed and calf skin leather and you find them both here.

Naked
As you may know by know I have been crushing over transparent bag like since, well, forever. I love it! And when I spotted the Pvc-material on Valentino’s runway for this season I was in heaven. Trenchcoat and bags – all in see-through pvc embellished with the Valentino studs. This ‘Rockstud Flapbag’ clutch is a beauty and it just came in atElyse Walker.

The tote bag
Just spotted this beautiful crocodile leather tote from Lanvin at Luisa Via Roma. A perfect everyday bag! Love the crocodile leather combined with the smooth calf-skin and the brass details.

Red
Red is such a difficult color, at least for me. I don’t think I own anything red actually, sure I have got tons of burgundy accessories and pieces but no red ones. If I would implement it in my wardrobe I would definitely go with a bag. Red to denim, black and white are a beautiful combination, as well as red and melange grey. Above you can see three stunning pieces: Valentino Va Va Voom flap bag, Valentino studded clutch and Valentino Rockstud bag.

The naked bag
Oh I want this one badly! Such a beauty and I love see-through… I know I have been talking about it plenty of times before, but I just loved the Chanel Naked bag back in the days. Anyway, this gorgeous one from Valentino is a winner as well. You can find it here.

Hey papier!
The Baguette
I have been seeing more and more of a certain bag lately, and that bag is the Fendi Baguette bag. If I remember it right, I think it was in the beginning of 2000 this bag was the it-bag among fashionistas. I was in 6th grade or something, but I remember seeing them in fashion mags along with the ‘J’Adore Dior’ t-shirt (pretty cool btw) and the matching sunglasses from the same brand with the blinged out flames at the frames. Anyway, the Baguette bag is actually an icon among bags, and since the trends are slighty heading more and more to the ‘Lady-Like’ look this one is a piece to count on. The bags underneath are the ones from the Fendi Spring 2013 collection.
